While most water is removed by compressor filters, vapor can easily work its way into the air stream. Refrigerated Air Dryers operate by lowering the dew point of the water vapor that made its way into the system, collecting it as condensation, and allowing the now-dry air to pass through.
Refrigerated Air Dryers We Use
The VF Series (10-1,200 scfm) non-cycling refrigerated compressed air dryers are focused on reliable, constant dew point performance in all flow conditions. With its excellent heat transfer coefficients and extremely low pressure drop, these dryers will outperform the competition in protecting your compressed air systems, machinery, and tools.
The DHT series (20-125 scfm) high inlet temperature refrigerated compressed air dryers have been designed specifically for use with smaller air compressors that typically do not incorporate an aftercooler. The DHT dryers can accept compressed air up to a temperature of 205°F and provide clean dry air at the outlet.
The APET Series (45-1,000 scfm) is a high pressure refrigerated dryer, with operating pressures up to 725 psig. Air-side components composed of 316 stainless steel provide corrosion resistance for high pressure applications such as PET market, injection molding, naval and military functions, and component testing.
The AXHP Series (20-275 scfm) is a refrigerated dryer designed for operating pressures up to 6,000 psig. With corrosion resistant, 316 stainless steel air-side components, the AXHP will fit custom, extreme high pressure applications like pre-treatments for high pressure breathing systems, pressure testing, or other extreme high pressure applications.
The RTM series (2,500 – 30,000 scfm) high-capacity cycling refrigerated compressed air dryers use multiple compressors with defined loading/unloading capacities and a thermal mass storage medium for energy-efficient operation. These dryers are ideally suited when large air volumes need to be dried to a reliable and constant dewpoint.
The RDE Series (4,000-30,000 scfm) is a high capacity refrigerated dryer engineered to offer consistent dew point over variable load conditions. The innovative, direct expansion, non-cycling dryer combines shell-and-tube heat exchangers with compact, rotary screw compressors. This offers class leading pressure drop while minimizing energy requirements by modulating refrigeration compression to match current load requirements.
