What is the Exair Ionized Air Jet?
The EXAIR (Ion Air Jet) ionized air jet delivers a concentrated air stream that can cover a precise location without disturbing other areas. This quiet, targeted air stream provides incredibly fast static elimination and cleaning capability. The Ion Air Jet is the ideal way to remove dust and static from small parts prior to packaging, packing, printing, painting or finishing.
The Ion Air Jet induces the surrounding air flow at a 5:1 ratio, minimizing the use of compressed air and maximizing the ionized air flow. The strength can be adjusted from a “blast” to a “breeze.

How does the Ion Air Jet work?

The ionized air jet (Ion Air Jet) incorporates a high velocity air jet and an electrical energy emitting point. A small amount of compressed air is injected into the air jet (1) inducing a high volume flow of surrounding air(2) to pass through it. The emitting (shockless) point on the discharge side (3) ionizes any air stream. The result is a high volume of ionized airflow (4), capable of neutralizing high static charges in fractions of a second. An optional filter and regulator clean the compressed air and allow an infinite number of flow and velocity adjustments in the air stream.
