What is the Exair Ion Air Gun?
The Exair Ion Air Gun is part of the fourth generation of antistatic products that combine an incredibly fast electrostatic charge reduction effect with low compressed air savingso to save compressed air. It is the ideal way to remove static, contaminants or dust from three-dimensional parts prior to assembly, packaging, painting or finishing. The Exair Ion Air Gun neutralizes static electricity and cleans at distances up to 15 feet (4.6 meters).
The Exair Ion Air Gun is quiet, lightweight and features a hook for easy storage. The 3 meters of shielded power cable is extremely flexible and rugged, designed for industrial use.

How does the Exair Ion Air Gun work?
The Exair Ion Air Gun incorporates a high velocity air jet and an electrical energy emitting point. A small amount of compressed air is injected into the air jet (1) inducing a high volume of surrounding air flow(2) to pass through it. The emitting (shockless) point on the discharge side (3) ionizes any air stream. The result is a high volume of ionized airflow (4), capable of neutralizing high static charges in fractions of a second. An optional filter and regulator clean the compressed air and allow infinite adjustments of flow and velocity in the air stream.
