Precise measurement of flow and consumption of compressed air and industrial gases
- Flexible signal outputs: analog 4–20 mA or Modbus RTU digital communication, enabling easy integration into control and monitoring systems.
- High measurement accuracy: accuracy of up to ±1% of reading, ideal for applications requiring reliable consumption control.
- Real-gas calibration: capability to calibrate for up to two different gases, ensuring greater accuracy in specific applications.
- Direct measurement at the point of use: reliable and cost-effective monitoring of compressed air and nitrogen consumption, without the need for straight pipe runs or additional calculations.
Description

Obtain precise consumption data at your compressed air and industrial gas points of use.
The SUTO S415 and S418 thermal mass flow sensors enable direct and reliable measurement of volumetric flow and consumption of compressed air and nitrogen, exactly at the point of use. Thanks to their thermal mass measurement technology, readings are virtually independent of pressure and temperature variations, ensuring stable and repeatable results.
Their compact and cost-effective design makes them an ideal solution for energy monitoring, process control, and detection of unnecessary consumption, helping improve system efficiency and reduce operating costs. Installation is simple and does not require straight pipe runs, making integration easy even in confined spaces.
Both versions include the SUTO Service App as standard, allowing users to view real-time readings, verify sensor operation, and adjust configuration quickly and safely from an Android device.
Applications
Measurement of flow and consumption at the point of use for compressed air and industrial gases, with no need for straight pipe runs thanks to the integrated flow conditioner.
Energy monitoring and consumption control in compressed air networks to detect overconsumption and improve efficiency.
Direct in-line installation via internal gas thread connections in sizes DN8, DN15, DN20, and DN25 according to ISO 228-1.
General industrial applications requiring a thermal mass flow meter, without the need for external pressure or temperature compensation.
Advantages
Pressure- and temperature-compensated thermal mass measurement, with no additional calculations required.
S418 option with integrated pressure sensor, ideal for applications requiring enhanced process data.
S418 option with integrated data logger, suitable for remote locations or historical consumption analysis.
Two versions available:
