The S520 from SUTO combines the latest measurement technology with a portable, easy-to-use design. In addition to recording the dew point, it also measures line pressure, ensuring precise calculations according to ISO 8573 without relying on estimates. The S520 offers two sensor options:

Sensor A (QCM + Polymer): for measurements from -100 °C to +20 °C Td, ideal for very low condensation points.

Sensor B (Polymer): range from -50 °C to +50 °C Td, a cost-effective option for standard applications.

Applications

Q sensor (-100 … -30 °C Td): Ideal for applications with very low moisture traces.

P sensor (-50 … +50 °C Td): For standard dew point measurement applications.

Q + P combination: Covers the entire dew point measurement range according to process requirements.

Pressure chamber measurement: Ensures greater accuracy, especially in systems with pressure fluctuations.

Purge flow control: Valve included to adjust air purge in the measuring chamber and protect the sensor.

Measurement Principle

The S520 from SUTO measures the dew point using high-precision sensors:

Sensor Q: combines QCM technology with polymer for fast and reliable measurements under extremely low humidity conditions (-100 … -30 °C Td).

Sensor P: polymer sensor for standard applications (-50 … +50 °C Td).

Measurement is performed through an integrated pressure chamber, which connects the sensor to the air or gas line via a small controlled flow. This keeps the sensor protected and dry when not measuring, and ensures a fast and accurate response when measurement begins.

In addition, the S520 simultaneously records temperature, pressure, and humidity, automatically and reliably calculating the dew point according to ISO 8573 standards. All this information can be saved and exported to a PC or used to generate reports on the spot with the optional portable printer.
